Privacy Policy

STRYDE ("we", "our", "the service") is a discipline and productivity platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

What we collect

• Name and email address — via Google Sign-In.
• Mood check-in scores — 1–10, submitted daily.
• Quest completion data and verification notes — what you complete and the notes you write confirming it.
• Study session duration and subject focus — how long you study and on what.
• Exam dates, subjects, and marks you enter — the exams you're preparing for and your logged scores.
• XP points, streak count, and rank progress — your gamification stats.
• App usage patterns and session timestamps — when and how you use STRYDE.

How we use it

• To generate your daily quest plan.
• To calculate your discipline rank and XP.
• To power the Intelligence feature with context about your actual study patterns.
• To show you analytics about your own performance.

How it's stored

• Securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL database).
• Hosted on servers in the United States.
• Protected by row-level security — only you can access your own data.

Data deletion

Email support@stryde.one to request full deletion. We will delete all your data within 7 days.

Consent

By creating a STRYDE account you explicitly consent to us collecting and processing the data listed above for the purposes listed above. You can withdraw consent at any time by requesting account deletion — this stops all further processing and triggers the 7-day deletion above.

Your rights as a data principal

• Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to correction — update most of your profile directly in the app; email us for anything you can't change yourself.
• Right to erasure — request full deletion at any time (see above).
• Right to grievance redressal — email support@stryde.one with any complaint about how your data is handled; we respond within 7 days.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you stop using STRYDE, your data stays only as long as needed for the purposes above, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. Payment transaction references may be retained separately for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law, even after account deletion.

Minors

STRYDE is built for students, many of whom are under 18. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware you're using STRYDE and consents to this policy on your behalf where required by applicable law. A parent or guardian can contact support@stryde.one at any time to review, correct, or delete their child's data.

Third-party services we use

Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users by email if we make material changes to how we use your Google account data. Continued use of STRYDE after such a notice means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of STRYDE. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

• You must be 13 or older to use STRYDE.
• Free and paid plans are available.
• STRYDE does not guarantee exam results. Study advice, nudges, and AI-generated content are guidance only, not a substitute for your teachers or official exam sources.
• We can suspend accounts used abusively.
• Intellectual property belongs to STRYDE — including its design, branding, quest system, and software.
• These terms are governed by Indian law.

Payments, auto-renewal & refunds

• Paid plan prices shown at checkout are inclusive of applicable GST.
• Paid plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel any time from your account — cancellation stops future billing, and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. STRYDE never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details.
• Refunds: payments already made are non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of a verified billing error (e.g. a duplicate or incorrect charge) — contact support@stryde.one within 7 days of the charge.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing support@stryde.one. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used abusively, with notice where practical. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, except as described above.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STRYDE's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. STRYDE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including exam outcomes or academic results.

Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, contact support@stryde.one first — we aim to resolve issues directly within 15 days. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Cookie Policy

• STRYDE uses localStorage only (your browser).
• No third-party cookies.
• No tracking pixels.
• No advertising cookies.
